Samsonvale Pool Deck — Composite Decking, Fencing & Concealed Pool Cover

This Samsonvale acreage build is one of those jobs that just comes together. The clients had already chosen their Allcast Plunge Pool through Daydream Plunge Pools, and brought us in to handle everything around it — the deck, the fencing, and the pool cover. When it all lines up like this, the result is something special.

The Decking

We used Woodevo composite decking boards in Antique Silver — a great choice for a pool surround. It stays cool underfoot, holds its colour in Queensland's UV, and needs none of the ongoing maintenance that timer requires. The boards wrap cleanly around all four sides of the pool with tight joints and a precise coping edge. No shortcuts on the detail work.

Pool Fencing

This project included both perforated panel pool fencing and frameless glass pool fencing, giving the clients the best of both worlds — privacy and structure on one side, open views to the paddocks on the other. All fencing is compliant and installed to a clean, seamless standard that doesn't compete with the overall aesthetic.

Concealed Daisy Pool Cover

One of the standout features of this build is the Daisy pool cover, integrated directly into the deck for a completely seamless finish. When it's tucked away, you'd never know it was there — the deck reads as one continuous surface. When it's needed, it's right there. It's the kind of hidden detail that makes a real difference to how a space looks and functions day-to-day.
